Your vision.
Kofounder executes.
Kofounder researches the opportunity, plans the product, designs the experience, builds the application, and gets it ready to launch—while you stay focused on the decisions that matter.
Discover → Research → Plan → Design → Build → Deploy
Every stage becomes a real commit in a GitHub repository you own.
Private beta opens in fall 2026.
Six phases. From idea to a product you own.
You review and approve each phase before Kofounder moves forward.
A cofounder, not a copilot.
- 01
You own every commit.
The repository lives on your GitHub, not ours. The Supabase project lives on your account, not ours. If you close your Kofounder subscription tomorrow, the app keeps running.
- 02
It thinks before it types.
The first four phases — discover, research, plan, design — happen before a line of code. By the time it writes the schema, the argument for building it has already been made and approved.
- 03
One tool, all the way through.
One brief. One context. One system that carries the decisions from research through deploy — no exports, no copy-paste between products, no lost intent between stages.
The questions we get most.
- What is Kofounder?
- Kofounder is an AI cofounder for solo founders. It takes an idea through six phases — discover, research, plan, design, build, deploy — and ships a working Next.js app to your own GitHub and Supabase.
- How is it different from an AI code copilot?
- A copilot helps you type faster inside code you already have. Kofounder decides what to build, validates the market, plans the features, designs the screens, and writes the code — before the first line is written.
- Does it ship to my own GitHub?
- Yes. Every stage lands as a real commit in a repository on your own GitHub. The Supabase project lives on your account too. Close your Kofounder subscription tomorrow and the app keeps running.
- What tech stack does it generate?
- Next.js 15 with the App Router, TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase for auth plus database. Ships to Vercel with the environment wired up.
- How does the workflow move forward?
- You review and approve each phase before Kofounder moves to the next. Discover to Deploy is one continuous workflow with a checkpoint at every stage. Project duration varies with idea complexity, feedback, and revisions.
- Who is it for?
- Solo founders who have an idea but no cofounder. Works for both technical founders who want the boring parts done and non-technical founders who want a real repository, not a locked-in sandbox.
A note about how this got made.
I'm building Kofounder because I have more ideas than weekends, and every tool I tried gave me a demo I couldn't own — a prototype trapped in someone else's sandbox, deleted when I stopped paying.
Private beta opens later this year in small batches. I'll watch every founder ship their first repo and fix what breaks. One email will land in your inbox when it's your turn — no newsletter in between.
